school rules
A special attention is to be given to ensure a high standard of morality and discipline:
- School diary must be in the possession of the students on every working day in the school.
- Students who come by school bus should be present at their respective bus stop in time.
- No student is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours, without the permission of the principal.
- Students must cultivate the habit of remaining clean, neat and tidy and be proud in wearing the school uniform.
- If an individual student is out from the class, he/she should carry the class out pass.
- Shouting or whistling is not allowed in or around the school. Running in the corridors is strictly prohibited.
- Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut decently at regular intervals.
- The students should stand up and greet when a teacher or visitor come to talk to them.
- No books, magazines or paper other then textbook or library books should be brought to school without permission.
- The school is not responsible for the articles lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like expensive watches, fountain pens, calculators, jewelry and any other electronic articles etc. to school.
- The students are strictly prohibited from writing or scribbling on school walls or on furniture and disfigure the class rooms or damage any property. Parents will have to compensate for any such damage done to school property by their wards.
- Leave of any kind would be granted only when it is supported by parents request.
- Any one who notices any damage should report even if he or she does not know who has done it.
- Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted.
- Class rooms must be kept neat and clean, Desk and benches should be kept at the proper place.
- Students should return their Report Card duly signed by their guardian within three days of its issue.
- School captains, House captains and other appointees should wear their respective badges daily.
- All students should get their nail cut regularly and should inculcate good habits of brushing their teeth, polishing shoes and coming to school in clean and pressed uniform.
- Remark entered in the diary of the student should be duly responded by the parents.
- Students should move in line, while moving towards the mess. They should maintain silence and proper discipline when they take food. Wastage of food should be avoided.
- Name, Class, Section, Subject etc. of the students should be clearly marked on his/her belongings.
- Students should be polite where ever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers whenever they meet them. Bullying and use of foul languages are punishable offenses.
- English is the only medium of communication used inside the campus.
- The school reserves the right to terminate any student whose conduct is a bad example for others.
